im in colorguard because it is the way that i can express myself and how i use my talent for doing what i love. i love being in colorguard because it's always a lot of fun. but what i love most about guard is the feeling that you have while your performing, it is one of the most amazing feelings. i feel like everyone is watching me, and to know that, gives you an adrenaline rush. when im spinning with all my friends, and were all hyped up on energy, and ready to live how we love to and go out and perform, i feel really strong. and having the feeling of being that strong, is one of the best feelings ever.

Painting is expression, feeling, success. No one can say it's wrong because it's your effort and your creation. I not only paint for experience but to experience. To see the vibrant colors and feel them radiate off the page. I use those colors to discover my own capability and creativity. When I hold the brush in my hand, I'm not attempting to please others, because I can't, one's happiness is one's own choice. As I make the brushstrokes, I feel no fear of failure or that of judgement. Because when I paint I am at peace, with my art and with myself.

I love to read because its a escape. Whenever I have a bad day i just shut out the worl and grab a book. I like to read books about people going through addictions and throughout the book they can cure themselves. These types aslo interest me because it shows what human-minds can put themselves through and still be able to live. I also like to read love stories. They make me happy. I think its amazing to read that people can make another person feel love. Its nice to read about how they feel witin each others skin. Many people dont like to read and they think its boring, in my opinion as long as you can find a book that grabs your attention, it can be just like watching a movie. To me it is better because you can imagine whats going on with the characters in your mind. This isnt really a reason why I read but it can strenghten your vocaulary and reading skills. Reading is and always will be my escape.

Friends come and go and some will stay, but not many. My family is my life they are the closest people to me. Some people unfortunately have reasons not to be family orientated. Some have good reasons and others do not. People who are close to their family have to learn how to get over drama and not get mad because life is short, and you never know how much more time you will have with them. Sometimes our families do or say things we don't like. Just get over it though because their still your family. My family is the best thing in my life . My biggest joy is when I get the news that someone in the family is pregnant it makes me happy because the thought of my family growing is pretty awesome to me. My nieces somehow know how to put the biggest smiles on faces. I love my family; they are always there for me and thats why they are my life.

Everyone should live to the fullest every day of their life. You never know when it will be your last day on this beautiful earth. Life can not be bought or sold. A single person can just live it themselves. Just like I do. I leave my house every day and tell my family that I love them. I do not believe that anyone should leave their house or anyone that they love being mad at them. Because well, you just don't know if that is the last time that you will ever see that person. Life is too beautiful to let it go to waste. So live every day to the fullest and have no regrets.

I do what I do because I feel as if in this world that we live in stereotypes are deeply embedded in people's minds. I feel as if I have the power to break down these stereotypes and am becoming me on my own terms and not by what people expect of me. I am my own person.

Basketball is what i do because it not the only thing that makes me happy it makes me who i am. Basketball is my addiction I love the game and every aspect to it. Basketball is not just a game it teaches you skills. Teaches you leadership,teamwork,and communication. Things that are a big deal in life. Teaches leadership by if your team is done the leader knows the way to bring up yhe team bring more confidence in them. Teaches you teamwork because if you don't do teamwork you wont win the game. Communication teaches you to communicate with your fellow team mates because if you don't you will get confused playing and wont be on the same page in the game. All these different aspects of the game are important and these skills that i have learned from the game. Basketball is also my escape from life its the only thing that i can do and forget about all my troubles it reliefs stress. Basketball is my sanctuary, it is what i do.

Tyler Knight- Why I do what I do.

I do what I do because if I do not do it, then who will do it? When someone walks down the street and sees a homeless person, they automatically think that they are drunk or a loser. Working with them has changed all that for me. I have met homeless people with college degrees and even doctorates. Most of them time the reason they are on the street is just because they can't find work. But, through all their struggles and hardships, these people are more hopeful and more loving than anybody I have ever met. To see their faces light up when I give them a sandwich or a pair of socks means more to me than anything else in the entire world.

Why do you do what you do?

I enjoy life. I live by the saying "Live life to its fullest and nothing less". If one does not enjoy life there is no point of living. I will try any activity at least once. Even doing simple activities such as playing on a playground and hanging out with friends can bring the most joy in life. Life is short, I try and make the most out of everyday.

Why you do what you do

I take pictures because for as long as I can remember have wanted to capture what I see. It is ironic I have terrible eyesight, but it is when I am looking through the viewfinder that I feel most alive. Even as a ten year-old photographing "Old Faithful" or Yellowstone Falls" on our family's cross country trip in 1957, I was totally into it. Though I worked for years taking children's portraits, family portraits, and weddings, it has been since I started teaching photography that my enthusiasm for photography has returned. Photography was and is my passion.
