The photo "American Gothic" by Gordon Parks and the photo "Cleaning Lady" by August Sanders both try to portray the same idea.
They both are pictures of working woman. The differences I see in the 2 is that the photograph by Parks seems to be randomly taken, while Sanders' photo seems to be planned. They both however are real, meaning no makeup was involved, hairstyling, etc. The both show hard working woman on their daily day schedule.
